This retreat is designed specifically for trauma survivors who are seeking to harness the power of creative expression for healing, personal growth, and reconnection with their authentic selves. Whether you're new to creative arts or a seasoned artist, this workshop provides a safe, supportive space to explore the transformative potential of expressive arts for trauma recovery. Participants may include survivors of childhood trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, military combat, and other traumatic experiences.

Location: 

The retreat will be held in the vibrant artistic community of Denver, Colorado, known for its thriving creative scene, inspiring galleries and performance spaces, and beautiful natural environments conducive to healing and self-expression.

What Participants Must Bring: 

Participants are asked to bring a journal and pen for reflective writing exercises to fully immerse themselves in the creative healing process. Please also wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement, embodiment practices, and engaging in various art forms. We recommend bringing a water bottle, any personal items needed for your comfort throughout the retreat, and an open heart and mind ready to engage in the process of creative exploration and self-discovery. Participants are encouraged to leave judgment and self-criticism behind and embrace the freedom and joy of creative expression. Art supplies will be provided, but participants may bring any favorite tools or materials they wish to incorporate into their healing journey.
